Matthew Matt James born in North Carolina 5 December 1991. Parents include Manny James, and Patty James. He has the Nigerian father as well as a Caucasian mother. His father is Nigerian and his mother caucasian American. He graduated from Sanderson High School in 2010, then went on to Wake Forest University, where earned a bachelor's degree in Economics in 2015. James was first noticed when he was a Reality Star in The Bachelorette. In the year 2020, he was selected to play the role of bachelor on The Bachelor's season 25 becoming The only African American male lead which was later aired in 2021.
